Christmas Day

I woke up to Ellen jumping on me. My parents still have to check to make sure Santa came. Luckily he did!  We had breakfast with cousins and later Abbi came over. And then . . . Snowshoein

Pretty!

We had some delicious waffles with more cousins :) and then we ended the day with Ben and Dad playing our new Ukelele. Followed shortly by the hour long movie Arthur's Christmas (the aardvark) and yes, Ben chose it and sang along to all the songs.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Left: Ben is standing normal.

Right: Keat has finally done it.  We've been measuring every time we see each other for several years and he is finally taller than me..

 Snowman Relay
Callie was beyond thrilled to be a part of it
The other team knocked them over.

This game required you to open this present while wearing oven mitts. Will took it to a whole new level and hit it with his head over and over again. It just about worked (it gave us all a good laugh).

Mark was tired of playing games. So he took care of that and ate the bag we needed in order to play the last one.

We miss you Matt!

The family went in on this for Grandma. She needle-pointed this a long time ago and they had it framed for her.

"Tis the Season

These first few pictures have nothing to do with Christmas. Harry Potter is from the Pumpkin Walk. I was watching my cousins for the weekend and I took them there.

The sandwich picture is Ben cashing in his birthday present. He is always asking me to make him a sandwich so I gave him a coupon as a present. It had bacon, ham, egg, cheese, and a bagel. Heart attack birthday.

The picture with the big red ball is how we spend our Sunday afternoons. Abbi practiced until she could throw it and it would bounce on all 4 heads before it hit the ground. Impressive.

Our ward had a service auction and the 3 of us on the left won a plane ride! The back seat made us feel a little sick but it was still fun and pretty.

Friends since elementary. We all got together and ate dinner at Sonora Grill and went bowling. (Tyler did great, I've never seen anyone get that many strikes. We're not going to talk about my bowling abilities. Except Jessica and I did slide on our stomachs one turn, that was cool.)

 Janapalooza!
 Happy Birthday!

Jessica's getting married on us. Morgan let us come to her new house and celebrate for Jessica. The house is beautiful and we're so happy for Jessica!

Rafting.

I went rafting for the first time ever; up in Jackson, WY.
 It. Was. So. Fun.
Not gonna lie, when the guy that was our guide started telling us about the time a man had a heart attack on his raft and then died but they still had to take the raft to the rest of the way with a dead man on it, I got a little freaked out.
And maybe the river was super calm but maybe I was really scared.

So, I started out riding in the very back, where they told me I wouldn't get wet or fall off. By the next time I was riding bull (sitting on the front with your feet hanging over the edge- we got brave and had 2 of us up there!) and I'm pretty sure the front half of our raft was underwater at one point and I loved every minute of it (even when it started pouring rain - don't worry, we cheered for the LOTOJA riders during the rainstorm. And they cheered for us.).
 Loved it.

Another time..... Katie-chicken-brain came to visit and we went to Hu Hot and Poetry and a Beverage. I haven't been to that for a very long time. It was fun to feel like a freshman in college again haha.
and yes i have really short arms

And last, but not least. one day I came across this video and it's awesome.
That's all.
