A year ago

I was looking through the pictures on my phone from about a year ago and I was remembering how much fun we had right after we got married. It was such a fun fall! Reminisce with me, would you? 

Tyler got his first ever speeding ticket. Utah has changed him.

We went up to the Bear Lake Pickleville playhouse with our friends and saw the awesome "Who Shot Juanito Bandito". We laughed our heads off while enjoying the giant pickle snacks.

While we were up there we explored some caves. Jana sings very good in caves.

The Ogden temple reopened and we went to the open house. Such a beautiful temple!

I kidnapped Tyler and took him camping and then to the Alpine slide. He really liked his pillow blindfold.

It was Tyler's turn to surprise me with some FUUUN dates. Thanksgiving point. We went to the gardens and the dinosaur museum and the children's museum and the petting zoo. The museum was AMAYZING. Just FYI.

My little cousins all came to our apartment for a sleepover! We played at the park and went hot tubbing and played whiffle ball and more. So fun.

I got put in Young Women's. For my first activity we went on a hike and Tyler got to come. I love hiking!

Surprise date #2: Glass blowing! I made a candy dish. It was my favorite thing to do ever.

Cancun #2

We got to go to Cancun again! Tyler's awesome work had a company trip and we ended up getting to go. Such a cool place. 

Tyler made me try this concoction to prevent me from getting sick. He drank 4 glasses of it. It has cayenne pepper, garlic galore, peppermint tea, garlic, honey, garlic. And I don't even know what else. He finally convinced me to drink it. I took a sip and I tried to swallow it, but instead I threw up in our kitchen sink because it was so gross. I did not get sick so I think it worked :)

Cutting down our very first Christmas tree. We went to Burley and cut down trees with his family. Good memories and a great tree!

After cutting down our trees we had an epic snowball fort/fight with his siblings/parents/ and nieces and nephews. I'm pretty sure the girls won.

NickelCade. Again and again and again. I taught Tyler's niece how to play skee ball. She gets very good scores.

And in this time Ellen & Brodylynn got married and we said goodbye to Ben as he left for Brazil!!! What a fun (except for the goodbye to Ben part) fall season 2014! Thanks for reminiscing with me.

Snippets of our life.

This post is random, long, and out of order. Ellen's wedding shower, hikes we took in the fall, 2 little cuties got baptized, Ellen &Brody's wedding, Ben's farewell. Then we travel back in time to July and honeymoon #1, Cancun! So fun.

And now we go back to July, it's Honeymoon time!

This was our favorite area for snorkeling, we woke up at sunrise one morning and went out and saw so many sea turtles. Amazing.

Ziplining over the jungle, swimming, rafting, and mud-jeeping in underwater rivers-in-caves. We loved it there, such a fun day!

You can't see any dolphins here but they are here, and we got to swim with them. And I stood on their noses and flew through the water like a mermaid. If I were a mermaid, I think I would be best friends with dolphins.

Cenotes. It's this whole underground freshwater river system all over Cancun. We found one right across the street from our resort and we went snorkeling in it. It was amazingly deep and dark and eerie but beautiful.

Our first dinner in our new home as newlyweds. Tyler is there, we are just really bad at taking selfies. Or should I say, "us'ies"

Backpacking

We went camping at an abandoned campground, turns out the firepit was home to a family of hornets. Can you say "S'more hornets?"

Tyler's first time on the Alpine slide, everyone's gotta go sometime in their life!
